Our 2026–2027 Youth Employment Program (YEP) RFP is now available HERE!
This year, YEP will operate in three program periods:
- October – January
- January – March
- March – June
Youth may participate in up to four program sections between YEP and SYEP before exiting the programs.
Please note that while participating agencies will be responsible for recruiting and hiring their youth, all youth must be approved by DCWIB before they begin working. If a youth begins working before receiving DCWIB approval, DCWIB will not be able to fund that youth's wages or participation.
Please make sure you receive confirmation of approval from DCWIB before allowing any youth to begin working.
