Help Inspire the Next Generation of Our Workforce

The Dutchess County Workforce Investment Board (DCWIB) and DCWORKS are seeking local businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders to participate in our annual Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) Youth Summit.

This event brings together youth participating in the Summer Youth Employment Program to build workplace skills, explore career opportunities, and connect with professionals from our community.

How You Can Get Involved

Choose the volunteer opportunity that best fits your interests:

Lead a Roundtable Discussion

Share your career journey, experiences, and advice in a small-group discussion with youth.

Help with Our Financial Literacy Game

Guide youth through an engaging, hands-on activity that teaches budgeting, saving, and smart financial decision-making.

Participate in the Career Fair (Afternoon)

Host a table representing your business or organization and connect with youth as they explore career paths, industries, and future employment opportunities.

No Special Preparation Required

We're simply looking for professionals who are willing to share their time, experience, and encouragement with local youth. Whether you're a business owner, nonprofit staff member, educator, or community volunteer, your participation can make a lasting impact.
